Hold Me Tight:

Conversations for Connection

The Hold Me Tight: Conversations for Connection program is a structured program for couples and individuals who prefer an educational approach to learning ways to improve their relationships. The program is based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and utilizes the book Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love by Dr. Sue Johnson. This content can be presented in private or group format. The workshop format provides 16 hours of study and may be scheduled in a variety of ways - for example, in 2-hour sessions over 8 weeks, in two weekends, or in one long weekend.

The first session focuses on the theory and science of relationship. The remaining sessions focus on helping couples and individuals shape and use the seven conversations laid out in the book. Participants are encouraged to obtain the book before sessions begin.

"There's something appealing about this book's honest, no-holds-barred approach. By creating complete emotional safety and by willing to be fearless about it, it seems to me, not only can real love be kept alive, it can flourish."
